Adventure and nature therapists | Experiential, and outdoor trainers
Visionquest and wilderness facilitators | Scouts

Ensuring mental, and social-emotional well-being (mental health) has become a central core criterion of safety measures in experiential education and Adventure and nature therapy processes with individuals and groups. To realize this, experiential therapeutic/pedagogical process facilitators have the central task of designing psychologically safe and motivating experiential spaces in dialogue with the participants.
Especially in challenging learning and change spaces, excessive demands can occur and manifest themselves in acute psychological phases. In these cases, it is important to calmly, systematically, and purposefully accompany those affected into a psychologically safe state and, if necessary, hand them over to professional help. For this to succeed in an emergency, adventure and nature therapists/experiential pedagogues need to be able to act and be confident in their actions.
To (further) develop these is the core concern of this practice-oriented training course.
