Air is by far the most common gaseous contamination in lubricating oils, hydraulic and special fluids. The phenomen in practice often is under- or sometimes over-estimated. It lead to unnecessary maintenance actions and therefor cause increased costs. Applications, machinery and oil types react differently to an air or water entry. Because of this a general discussion of the topic is not helpful.

This one hour record of a webinar conducted by Rüdiger Krethe systematically deals with application-specific causes and consequences of increased water or air entry and gives practical tips to detect and correct these as early as possible. The real case studies, that are integrated into each module, complete the training series and provide a high practical relevance.
