Das Wesen der Lateinamerikanischen Musik liegt insbesondere in den zahlreichen diversen Rhythmen und Tänzen, die in der Harfenmusik hauptsächlich in der Begleitung ausgedrückt werden. Somit ist die Bassstimme mit ihren rhythmischen Mustern das Fundament und die Basis, auf der sich die Melodie- und Mittelstimmen entfalten.
Bewusst habe ich auf Fingersätze verzichtet, da ich diese eurer persönlichen Spieltechnik und -Gewohnheit überlassen möchte. Auch dynamische Spielanweisungen habe ich nur spärlich angebracht, weil ich finde, dass jede und jeder Spielende die Musik so ausdrücken soll, wie sie oder er diese empfindet.
Nun wünsche ich euch viel Vergnügen und Spiel-Spass auf euren Harfen und hoffe, euch das Tor zur Welt der zauberhaft schönen Lateinamerikanischen Musik geöffnet zu haben.

In this music book, I have published twelve easy level Latin American pieces for a 34-string lever harp.
The essence of Latin American music lies in its numerous rhythms and dances, which are expressed mainly through the accompanying figures (played on the left hand). So, the bass voice with its rhythmic patterns is the foundation upon which the melody and middle voices unfold.
I deliberately avoided the use of fingerings because I want to leave these to your own personal playing habits and techniques. I have also only sparingly added dynamic playing instructions because I think that each and every player should express the music in the way they feel it.
And so, I wish you delight and enjoyment in playing these pieces and I hope that I have opened the door to the world of enchantingly beautiful Latin American music.

En este libro de música publico doce piezas latinoamericanas de nivel fácil para tocar arpa de 34 cuerdas.
La esencia de la música latinoamericana reside sobre todo en sus numerosos ritmos y danzas diferentes, que se expresan en la música de arpa a través de las figuras de acompañamiento (tocadas con la mano izquierda). Es la voz del bajo, con sus patrones rítmicos, la que constituye la base sobre la que se desarrollan la melodía y las voces medias.
Deliberadamente omito las digitaciones porque prefiero dejarlas a disposición de su propia técnica y hábito personal para tocar el instrumento. También indico pocas instrucciones dinámicas considerando que cada persona debe expresar la música de la forma en que mejor la sienteMi principal deseo es que disfruten tocando estas piezas y espero haberles abierto la puerta al mundo de la encantadora y bella música latinoamericana
